Nadal, whose uncle Miguel Angel played for Barcelona more than 200 times in the 1990s, told Marca: “You never know what can happen. Everyone knows I’m passionate about football and Real Madrid is my team.
“Talking about it now is a utopia, but if you ask me, of course I would like to be president.
“We are very well as we are, we have a great president and I do not think Real Madrid needs me.”

Current Real chief Florentio Perez is in his second term in charge of the club, after stepping down in 2006.
Perez is largely credited with the club’s current trend of attempting to sign the best players in the world and break the world record transfer fee.
Real signed Cristiano Ronaldo for £80million from Manchester United in 2009 and broke that record by capturing Gareth Bale from Tottenham in 2013 for £85million.
