TEDDY SHERINGHAM is on the verge of becoming the new Swindon Town boss.
Luke Williams resigned last month as the club were relegated to League Two.

And former England international Sheringham has been picked out as the right man for the role, which now includes being in charge of transfers after changes were made by owner Lee Power.
The ex-Manchester United and Tottenham striker’s only previous managerial experience came at Stevenage in the 2015/16 season.
Sheringham lasted less than a year after winning just seven of his 33 games at the helm but feels he was treated unfairly due to an unprecedented injury crisis.

He will now be hoping his time at Swindon goes a whole lot better, with the newly-relegated side winning just 11 matches in League One this season.
Those behind the scenes will be sure to draw on Sheringham’s experience as a player at the highest level.
