Windsurfer Shaw, skeetshooter Hill and Paralympic long jumper Reid want to raise awareness of the fact that more than half of secondary school girls drop out of sport after 13 because of body issues and bad experiences during PE.

They want teenage girls to know that a sporty body is a sexy body.

The trio say they want girls to know that athletic bodies are beautiful – and that girls should not be afraid of being physically strong.

Shaw, 33, is again among the favourites in windsurfing. After her bronze medal back in London 2012, Shaw has won three silver medals at the World Championships and a European Championship gold.

Reid, 32, competes in the long jump and T44 sprint events.

Hill is a newcomer to shooting but the 18-year-old has been tipped to cause an upset over her more experienced rivals.

She won gold at the European Games last year having been the youngest winner of a senior World Cup when she was just 15.
