UFC 200 is set to deliver a spectacular night of fights in Las Vegas, with the venue itself set to be one of the stars of the show on July 9.

The spectacular new T-Mobile Arena will play host to the showpiece event of UFC International Fight week, as the UFC holds the biggest night of fights in the promotion’s history.

The new arena, built for around $375million, is located on the Las Vegas strip, between the New York New York and Monte Carlo hotels.
The arena covers 650,000 square feet and features 20,000 seats, 44 luxury suites and even a nightclub – The Hyde Lounge – with a spectacular balcony offering views of the action in the arena.

The 20,000-seat arena has dressing rooms for both NHL and NBA teams in preparation for Las Vegas franchises that are hoped to arrive in the city in the future.
Indeed, clearance was recently given for an NHL ice hockey team to come to Las Vegas for the 2017 season.

The spectacular arena is the showpiece of a new development called The Park, which is sure to be hugely popular with fans during fight week.

The Park features a host of bars and restaurants plus the Toshiba Plaza, an open-air concourse with a raised stage area that can be used for street performers, outdoor concerts and, possibly, outdoor weigh-ins.

While UFC 200 will be held at the new T-Mobile Arena, the other two UFC fight nights that week, Thursday’s UFC Fight Night and The Ultimate Fighter Finale on Friday, will both be held at the UFC’s regular home in Vegas, the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

The MGM Grand has played host to some of the biggest fights in UFC history, including the last three Conor McGregor fights.
