ALEIX GARCIA was the star of the show as Manchester City edged past Swansea in their EFL Cup third round clash.
The Spanish midfielder helped himself to a goal in the 67th minute following Gael Clichy’s opener.

Gylfi Sigurdsson pulled one back for the Swans in the dying moments but it was too little, too late.
Summer signing Leroy Sane was handed his first start by Pep Guardiola.
While there was also room for Kelechi Iheanacho in attack.
And City have now been rewarded for their win with a fourth round clash against fierce rivals Manchester United.
