WWE Survivor Series 2017: Triple H turns on Raw team-mate Kurt Angle but pins Shane McMahon for win

Nov 20, 2017

TRIPLE H and Braun Strowman came out on top in a controversial main event of Survivor Series.

The Game turned on his own team-mate Kurt Angle before pinning his brother in law Shane McMahon.

The opening exchanges had the fans on their feet as some potential dream matches were teased.

Shane McMahon was embarrassed by Braun Strowman who chucked the SmackDown Live commissioner into the corner.

Samoa Joe then grappled with Randy Orton before Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura sent the fans into meltdown.

And the two former NXT stars showed why they are two of the best technical wrestlers in the world today.

Triple H then faced off against Shinsuke Nakamura and then Bobby Roode — two men who HHH brought into the WWE.

But the action really started as Nakamura cleared out the Raw team only for Strowman to hit a running powerbomb for the elimination.

Strowman then continued his domination and eliminated Roode.

A fallout between Kurt Angle and HHH gave Randy Orton and John Cena the chance to recover.

And it took all their power to force Strowman out of the ring, where the German announce table was cleared off.

Then it took all FIVE members of the SmackDown Live team to suplex the Monster Among men through a table.

Cena then took advantage of Samoa Joe and Finn Balor’s disagreement as he delivered the AA to both men before pinning Joe.

But the face that runs the place was soon out himself as Angle got the three count after two Angle Slams and a Coup de Grace from Balor.

But Balor was on the receiving end of a RKO from out of nowhere and sent up the ramp.

And then Owens and Zayn got their own back on McMahon as they came out and beat him down.

Shane evened things up with numerous chair shots but while he chased them up the ramp Strowman came back into the ring to eliminate Orton.

That left Shane as the only member of team SmackDown Live against Strowman, Angle and HHH.

It looked like it was going to be HHH facing off with his real-life brother in law Shane before Angle tagged himself in.

And he looked like he had him beat with the Angle Slam and ankle lock, but HHH came in and pedigreed his own team-mate.

But he then picked Shane up and pedigreed him for the win with Strowman looking confused by the entire situation.

Strowman then grabbed The Game by the throat before hitting a running powerslam twice to end the show.
