England under-20 cap Ejaria has been unable to crack the big team at Anfield but still has time to crack it.

Coleman has been desperately searching for new blood on a very limited budget and has been done a big favour by Liverpool.

The Black Cats boss has publicly expressed his frustrations with the lack of options he has in the midfield and the 20-year-old will provide some much-needed relief in the area.

Though Ejaria lacks first team experience he could be a breath of fresh air as Sunderland fight to escape the drop.

Ejaria – who is considered one of the Reds’ top prospects – has made eight senior appearances including two in league games.

He made it to the fringes of Liverpool’s first team last season before a ligament injury suffered in January set him back for three months.

The London-born midfielder grew threw the academy ranks at Arsenal before signing for Liverpool in Summer 2014.

Sunderland has tried and failed for team mates Danny Ward and Ben Woodburn earlier in the window.
