JURGEN KLINSMANN will be considered for the Sunderland job should a takeover happen this week.
The Black Cats are in talks with a German consortium, who want their own man in charge when they take control.

Ex-USA boss Klinsmann, 52, is on their list of candidates if talks progress with owner Ellis Short at the Stadium of Light.
Klinsmann, the former Tottenham striker, has been out of work for seven months after leaving his post with the American national side.
Sunderland supremo Short is holding out for £85m for the club which finished rock bottom of the Premier League last season.
An American investor team are willing to come in if the German takeover group falls through.
