GARY ROWETT is set to land the Stoke job – if Derby agree compensation.
The Potters parted company with Paul Lambert last Friday after being relegated to the Championship.

They immediately targeted Rams boss Rowett for the second time this year.
But Pride Park chiefs are demanding around £2million in compensation as Rowett still has three years left on his contract.
Rowett signed a new £1.5m-a-year Derby deal in January when Stoke made him their No1 target to replace the sacked Mark Hughes.
Now Potters bosses will expect Rowett to lead a promotion charge.
