The 55-year-old showed off his incredible transformation when he appeared on Sky Sports’ Goals on Sunday.
The former Sunderland and Birmingham City manager looked incredibly well having lost an awful lot of timber around the waistline.
Bruce has often been the butt of jokes regarding his oversized belly by cruel supporters but he will have no problem running up and down the touchline in front of the Holte End after shedding the pounds.

Bruce looks set to take the vacant role as Aston VillaSportsfile
And it has come at a good time with the ex-Manchester United defender set for a return to management to fill the vacant Aston Villa position.
When asked about the job, Bruce confirmed he is hoping to hear this week.
He said: “I’m hoping to hear something this week.
“It would be a terrific job. It’s a big, big job and let’s hope I hear something this week. If the opportunity arose, it’s something I would seriously consider.”
