OLYMPIC sprint king Usain Bolt has landed in Rio de Janeiro ahead of his bid to become the first man to win gold medals in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay at three successive Games.
The Jamaican superstar arrived on a flight from London to kick-start his preparations ahead of starting the defence of his titles in just over a fortnight.

Bolt’s campaign will start with the 100m heats on August 14.
He arrived to little fanfare, although it was hard to miss the 29-year-old wearing dark sunglasses, oversized headphones and with a large security detail.
Bolt arrived in Rio on the back of easing to victory in the 200m at the Anniversary Games in London last week.

He clocked 19.89secs to win the 200m at the London’s Olympic Stadium – almost four years since he won the 100m, 200m and 4x100m crowns.

Meanwhile, Bolt’s vast army of fans will be able to support him in his unprecedented ‘triple-triple’ bid in Rio – thanks to his own series of emojis.
Puma has launched the ‘Boltmoji’ for Apple and Android including Bolt doing his famous ‘To Di World’ pose.
Others include the Jamaican flag, Bolt running and Bolt with various expressions, such as crying, winking and with hearts for eyes.

And if the ‘Boltmoji’ app doesn’t quite quench your emoji thirst, Apple and Android will be releasing an additional 72 this month, including several Olympic-themed icons just in time for Rio.
If that was not enough, even as he begins to prepare for what is expected to be his last Olympic campaign, Bolt has started to promote a new documentary called ‘I am Bolt’.
The no-holds barred documentary will reveal the work that Bolts puts in to get where he is – on top of the world.

He said: “I think you will see everything about me as an athlete and a person.
“Nothing is off limits and the crew have already been following me everywhere I go. They started filming early last year and have been with me off and on since then.”
Bolt has posted a trailer of the documentary on his social media pages.
