USAIN BOLT has gone right to the top in a bid to play for his beloved Manchester United.
He sought out club legend Sir Alex Ferguson to see what sway the Scot would have in getting him into the side.

The world’s fastest man is a passionate United fan and is keen to play for his beloved club.
Which may be why the eight-time Olympic champion revealed he’d asked Manchester United legend Fergie to put in a good word for him.
In an interview with the Express, 31-year-old Bolt revealed his dream would be to pull on a United shirt, he said: “One of my biggest dreams is to sign for Manchester United.
“I’ve spoken to Alex Ferguson and I told him he needs to put in a good word. He told me if I get fit and ready, he will see what he can do.”

Bolt has a legion of fans that could well follow him in his diversification of sport, he also has plenty of friends in the United squad- which could make a transition easier.
He said: “Me and Pogba talk a lot. I watch and ask him a lot of questions. I want to play but it has to be in the top league.”
CONDITIONS: Jose Mourinho will sign new contract… if the club deliver his top transfer targets
Bolt may be aiming high and has yet to prove himself as a footballer but the confident athlete claims he doesn’t want to play for a ‘random club’, instead he only wants to play for the best.
Despite never playing a professional game, he has been included as a footballer in Pro Evolution Soccer 2018.

Bolt has enjoyed a summer of decadence since retiring from athletics.
But is working hard in a bid to get fit, after a hamstring injury ruined his last hurrah at the World Championships in London.
He has been eyeing up a switch to football for some time and has been very vocal about it.
Thanks to links between his Puma sponsor and Borussia Dortmund, the sprint legend has a trial with the German side lined up in in March, during the international break.

Eight gold Olympic medals certainly gave the Jamaican reason to be confident.
But his switch in sports leaves him with some doubt, he said:”It makes me nervous. I don’t get nervous but this is different, this is football now.”
Bolt has already been turning his hand to other sports since retiring from track and field.
Prior to the start of the Ashes, Bolt was seen working with the Australian batsmen in a bid to get some explosiveness into their strides as they ran between the wickets.
