Notts County steward who tripped kids up as Portsmouth fans ran onto pitch to celebrate promotion is SACKED
PORTSMOUTH supporters were LITERALLY head over heels after sealing promotion ten days ago at Notts County.
And one steward at Meadow Lane has been SACKED after turning into the ultimate party pooper and attempting to trip over a kid.
As this shocking footage shows, fans were lucky to escape serious injury as the high vis misery guts set about trying to send pitch invaders tumbling to the ground, including the youngster.
Pompey secured promotion after four years in League Two with a 3-1 triumph thanks to goals from Gareth Evans and a brace from Jamal Lowe.
It’s been a miserable few years for followers of the South Coast club as three relegations in four seasons saw them fall from the Premier League to the bottom division.
And they were clearly in the mood to party at the full time whistle as hoards of them made their way on to the pitch to celebrate with their heroes in blue.
