SHEFFIELD UNITED have faced a tough start to the Championship but will fancy their chances against Barnsley.
The newly-promoted club smashed last year’s League one, hitting 100 points in style, with captain Billy Sharp winning the League one player of the year with 30 goals, the 31-year-old also scored a goal on the opening day in a 1-0 home win against Brentford.

Manager Chris Wilder will want more goals from his main striker, after back-to-back away defeats to Cardiff and Middlesbrough.
The Blades join the arising trend of three at the back formations, with former Premier league defender Richard Stearman playing in the middle of the three, his calming influence has so far been challenged by tough opponents.
The Bramall lane faithful, who gave an exhilarating cheer when their team marched onto the pitch against Brentford, will be hopeful of another win at home following their floundering efforts when playing away from their ground, and should see Barnsley as a chance to do so.
However, Barnsley may prove to be tough opposition, after removing one of their strikers for a five man midfield has given them a 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest, their first win of the season.
Manager Paul Heckingbottom enlisted strong midfielder Brad Potts to secure the midfield after a 3-1 opening day defeat to Bristol City.
The Tykes have been an awkward Championship side, lying in mid-table last season, being arguably better away from home in the process.
In-form Ryan Hedges has been the cream of the crop, being praised by Heckingbottom for getting on the scoresheet on several occasions.
