Sheffield United 2 Wolves 0: Leon Clarke scores two for the second time in four days to send Blades second
LEON CLARKE was the Blades’ two-goal hero for the second time in four days.
Striker Clarke scored United’s 39th-minute opener from close range in this battle of the high fliers.

Then he headed the second in the 58th minute after ten-man Wolves had missed a penalty.
It was a fantastic follow-up to his double strike at Sheffield Wednesday in Sunday’s 4-2 Steel City derby win.
And it was another goal against one of his old teams for Clarke, who was also involved in the sending-off that left Wolves a man short after 15 minutes.
He was pulled back on the edge of the box by Conor Coady, who saw red.
United also had their share of luck when £15million Wolves striker Ruben Neves missed a 51st-minute penalty. Ref Peter Bankes pointed to the spot after Cameron Carter-Vickers brought down Diogo Jota — but Neves hit the post.
Wolves woke up late on with goal attempts from Jota, Danny Batth and Romain Saiss.
