SCOTT ARFIELD is set to sign for Rangers on Friday.
The Canada winger is a boyhood fan of Gers – who want Steven Gerrard to be their new boss – and SunSport understands he is poised to pen a pre-contract agreement on a three-year deal.

The Clarets have confirmed that Arfield, 29, and Dean Marney, 34, will leave the Premier League club at the end of the season.
Marney has been at Turf Moor since 2010 while Arfield joined the club in 2013.
Boss Sean Dyche said: “Rangers came through and asked us about Scotty Arfield, what his position was.
“Scotty was a boyhood Rangers fan. That one’s pretty simple in its form if they want to speak to him. We said, ‘Yes, of course’. We understand it.

“We have to allow these lads the right and the chance to align their futures and honour the fact they’ve been fantastic servants to us, as well.
“They have been a massive part of what we’ve done here and are fantastic servants of Burnley Football Club.

Arfield’s exit may come as a surprise to Clarets fans after the Scottish-born former Falkirk player’s five years at the club.
He was a key part of Dyche’s promotion-winning side in 2015-16 and has been a regular starter in the top flight.
Marney is in his eighth season at the club but has not made a single appearance this season, sitting on the bench 11 times.
