VIEWERS were treated to the Scotland vs England game in TWO different angles.
This is because ITV has the rights to the England matches and Sky Sports have the rights to the Scotland games, so both showed it…but from opposite sides of the ground!

It is unusual considering other games on TV are normally filmed from the same side of the ground.
Spectators from home were confused as they noticed the opposite camera angles on TV.

Why is England vs Scotland on both ITV and Sky Sports?
ITV have the sole rights to live England games.
But Sky Sports have the rights to the Scotland games.
Can I watch every England match on both channels?
In contrast to English domestic football, Three Lions games are not typically available on Sky Sports.
This match, and the return fixture which England won 3-0 at Wembley, are the only games in the 2018 qualifying campaign that the channel will show.

For all other qualifiers, viewers will have to tune into ITV.
And this will be the situation up to end of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, as ITV have recently secured the rights for the next five years.
Which Home Nations are on which channel?
All England matches are on ITV.
But Sky Sports have secured the rights to each other Home Nation’s fixtures.
Viewers are able to watch Scotland, Ireland, Wales and Northern Ireland on the network.
