Saracens to let fans in to postponed clash with Clermont Auvergne – but French side might not turn up
SARACENS will open the doors to fans for tonight’s originally planned “behind-closed-doors” clash against Clermont.
But there is still no news whether the French Top14 champs will turn up after their president protested over the 5.30pm kick-off time.

After Sunday’s showpiece European game was postponed because of the snow the tournament organisers, EPCR, have been shambolic in trying to get the game back on.
Originally they said it would have to be played with NO supporters in the ground because of fears over safety.
Then on Monday morning Sarries went against their wishes and threw open the doors to fans with tickets.
Though Clermont are still furious at the kick-off time as they need to eventually get back to France and prepare for Sunday’s return leg.

Saracens chairman Nigel Wray said: “We look forward to seeing as many of you here as possible.
“We will do what we can to not be beaten by the adverse conditions put in front of us, both on and off the pitch – it’s the British Way, it’s the Saracens Way. Real supporters with real tickets will always be welcome.”

Yesterday Harlequins played through a blizzard at The Stoop in their defeat to Ulster as they managed to get their game in the capital on with no problems.
But some 15 miles across London in Barnet the snow was too deep and the game was called off more than four hours before its original start time.
