SALT BAE’S may have been celebrated by the likes of Danny Welbeck, NFL stars and the Wales rugby team in recent weeks on the pitch.
But now he has been given the chance to meet some of sport’s biggest stars – and season their slap-up dinner.

The social media star – whose real name is Nusret Gokce – has shot to fame for his quirky seasoning technique.

Sporting stars have been quick to imitate his high-elbowed posture, to hilarious effect.
And last night at the Laureus World Sports Awards in Monaco, Salt Bae got to impress the likes of Simone Biles, Brian O’Driscoll and Nico Rosberg up close.

The awards’ social media account followed the Turkish chef at close quarters as he wandered around the awards ceremony.
And they captured a red carpet moment as Gokce performed his pinch-and-sprinkle magic in front of the camera.
He then posed next to Michael Phelps, who attempted to perfect the legendary Salt Bae technique, but seemed a little puzzled.
Nico Rosberg then took on the chef’s advice, taking a couple of tries to get the form just right.
He then appeared at American gymnastics star Simone Biles’ table, where he seasoned her food with his trademark technique, as rock salt crystals could clearly be seen falling over her food.
And last but not least Irish rugby legend Brian O’Driscoll posted an Instagram snap where the former centre simply commented: “Life made. Meal ruined. Worth it!”
