Ruby Walsh reckons Paul Townend has chosen the right horses to ride at Leopardstown this Saturday
PAUL TOWNEND has a cracking book of rides at Leopardstown this Saturday – and Ruby Walsh reckons he’s made the right decisions.

Walsh, racing ambassador for Paddy Power, revealed that he would probably have chosen all the same horses to ride, except one, despite some looking hard decisions.

“I wouldn’t have been so sure with the two-mile chase (Grade 2 Dublin Chase). Min in unbeaten and Yorkhill is trying two miles for the first time since he won a beginners chase.

“The first one is a tricky one (Grade 1 Novice Hurdle). Do you go with Fabulous Saga who is tried and trusted or do you go with Carter McKay who is unexposed?
Footpad has been brilliant over fences so farPA
“In the handicaps you are limited to weight, I would have had to have ridden Townshend.
“And then in the other one (Coral Hurdle) you would choose between Blue Berry and Karalee because the others are too light.
