Roy Keane slams Jose Mourinho again claiming Manchester United should be ’embarrassed’ how far they are behind leaders Chelsea
ROY KEANE has again slammed Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United, claiming they should be “embarrassed” at how far they are behind leaders Chelsea.
The former Old Trafford skipper, who played 326 games for the club during its most successful era, has criticised Mourinho several times this season.
Roy Keane has regularly criticised Manchester United this season for their lowly place in the Premier League tableITV
And he has not changed his views on the current state of the Premier League table, eager to cut through Mourinho’s excuses with the Red Devils 19 points off top-placed Chelsea.
Keane said on ITV’s Champions League highlights show: “For a club like Man United to win the League Cup and the Europa League, with the teams that are in it, you would expect them to do that.

“He (Mourinho) has come up with plenty of excuses over the last few months, but there is no reason why United should shy away from dealing with these challenges.
“They are now sixth in the league, I think they are 19 points behind Chelsea. The manager and the players should be embarrassed by that.”
It is not the first time Keane, 45, has turned his ire towards Mourinho.
The pair’s distrust appears to go back to the Irishman’s days on the touchline in the Premier League.
Then when Mourinho claimed in March that his players were suffering from fatigue, Keane did not hold back.
He said: “I’ve never heard so much rubbish in my life. Why do we have to listen to that garbage?
“It’s just utter nonsense what he’s talking about.

“He’s the manager of Manchester United, one of the biggest clubs on the planet.
“The squad he’s got, the players, and he keeps moaning about fixtures and fatigue.
“Maybe the club’s too big for hi. He cannot deal with all these demands at a match.
“United reserves could have won that game against Rostov. I’m sick to death of him.”
United face Celta Vigo tonight in the Europa League semi-final second leg at Old Trafford in a game that will become season-defining, especially if they are knocked out.
