One of football’s greatest entertainers, Ronaldinho made the move to Europe in 2001 from Gremio, where he had progressed through the rank from a young age.
He arrived at Barcelona in 2003 and was an immediate success, winning two La Liga titles and a Champions League during his time at the Bernabeu.
Since his return to Brazil, he’s won the Copa Libertadores with Atletico Mineiro and Campeonato Carioca with Flamengo.

But after struggling to find a club since leaving Fluminense, he’s decided it’s time to hang up those magic boots.
He said: “I am an old man now, I am 36.
“I am no longer 26 like I once was, and I am looking at what I can do to mark an end to my career. The plan is to play one more year.
"I am immersed in new projects, related to music and football which are, as you know, my two passions.
"I am looking at new things that I have always liked and we will see what we will do this year."
