Romelu Lukaku to snub Jose Mourinho’s Man Utd for dream return to Chelsea

ROMELU LUKAKU will snub Jose Mourinho to realise his dream of returning to Chelsea.

The 25-goal Belgian has made it clear to agent Mino Raiola that if he has the choice he will go back to Stamford Bridge rather than join Manchester United and work for the man who dumped him in 2014.

Mourinho had planned a £170million double hit on Lukaku and Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann.

The need for reinforcements intensified after  Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s long-term knee injury.

Lukaku’s decision to rebuff United will delight Blues boss Antonio Conte, who tried to sign him last summer, as Diego Costa prepares for an escape to  China.

Mourinho sold Lukaku, 23, to Everton for £28m.

Lukaku  rejected a club-record £120,000-per-week deal to stay at Everton last month.
