MANCHESTER UNITED star Romelu Lukaku wanted to tell his former Belgium manager to ‘f*** off and don’t pick me’.
Marc Wilmots took the star-studded side to the quarter-finals of the 2014 World Cup and Euro 2016 and played Lukaku regularly.

But the former Chelsea marksman never felt like the 49-year-old trusted him or even wanted to play him.
And things got so bad for the 24-year-old that he wanted to be dropped and snubbed by Wilmots, who was sacked in July 2016.
Speaking to Belgium-based DHNet, Lukaku said: “I knew I was going to play. The only problem was I also knew he didn’t want to play me.
“In that type of situation, you tell yourself ‘f*** off, leave me at home, don’t pick me’.

“You play for your country for pleasure. I never said I didn’t want to play here, but at that time, I didn’t enjoy being a part of it: I didn’t like getting selected.”
Lukaku is in Belgium getting treatment on an ankle injury that is threatening his FA Cup final place.
MONEY BALL Manchester United will earn more TV money than Man City this season
Jose Mourinho was fuming with how Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial filled in for him in the defeat to Brighton on May 4.
And Alexis Sanchez and Jesse Lingard also failed to help United break the deadlock against West Ham on Thursday night.
Lukaku has not played since the win over Arsenal at the end of April and the best hope seems to be for a place on the Wembley bench on May 19.

Mourinho said: “’We hope he can play the final.
“He is in Belgium having his treatment in the communication between the doctors in Belgium and our medical department and we are just waiting to see if it is possible for him to be involved in the final.
“If not starting at least he can be on the bench.”
