ROMA have admitted that the club are “evaluating” offers for Chelsea target Edin Dzeko.
The ex-Manchester City forward faced a tense atmosphere as Roma fans protested the possible sales of the club’s star players as his team suffered a 1-0 home loss.

Following the 1-0 defeat to Sampdoria, chief executive Umberto Gandini suggested a deal for the striker could be made before Wednesday’s transfer deadline.
But getting all sides to agree to terms to satisfy both clubs and the player will not be straightforward.
Gandini told Sky Sports Italia: “There are offers, we are talking and evaluating, but it takes three parties to reach an agreement and at times also with those who are around the players.”

The Blues are hoping to add a new striker this winter to provide competition and support for Alvaro Morata and Antonio Conte believes Dzeko would provide the quality.
Though their pursuit for the 31-year-old has stalled over the weekend with Dzeko believed to be demanding unrealistic contract terms.
Chelsea are said to be ready to pull the plug if an agreement can’t be reached by Monday so they have time to turn their attention elsewhere.
The Bosnian star played the full 90 minutes in front of a hostile home crowd while Emerson Palmiero – who is also a Chelsea target – remained on the bench.

Roma picked up their fifth league loss of the campaign amid a toxic environment as fans protested the sales of their high-profile players.
Facing the brunt of fans anger was president James Pallotta, whose face was printed on mock dollar bills.

Gandini added: “Nothing has happened yet, the market is open for everyone. Every club sells and that is ordinary activity.
“With the buying and selling of players, you work out a balance sheet, but also results.
“This month hasn’t been the best, but the results and performances have been deteriorating ever since we achieved qualification for the Champions League knockouts.”
