Rio Olympics 2016: Team USA basketball stars swap the court for the sandy beaches of Brazil as they try their hands at volleyball
TEAM USA’S Olympic basketball team have scraped through their opening matches unconvincingly, but are spending their spare time plying their trade in volleyball on the sandy beach of Copacabana.
On Monday, DeAndre Jordan and his teammates took a break from cheering on their fellow Americans and relaxed drinking coconuts and entertaining the crowd playing volleyball.

As massive favourites for gold in Rio, the men’s basketball team have narrowly overcome France and Serbia by three points and Australia by 10 but America expects better performances.
However with the pressure on, Klay Thompson, Jimmy Butler, DeMar DeRozan, Kevin Durant, Paul George, DeMarcus Cousins, Draymond Green and Johnson looked relaxed entertaining excited locals by playing beach volleyball and taking pictures.
It comes a day after they were spotted cheering on American beach volleyballers Kerri Walsh Jennings and April Ross who defeated Australia in the quarter-finals.
