Rio Ferdinand sensationally claims Cristiano Ronaldo practices bizarre penalty technique after mysterious ball movement against PSG in Champions League clash
MANCHESTER UNITED legend Rio Ferdinand has sensationally claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo’s mysterious penalty against Paris Saint-Germain was his plan all along.
The internet was also left baffled with nobody being able to put their finger on how the ball could rise on Ronaldo’s run up.
Black magic was just one of the bizarre reasons mentioned but BT Sport pundit Ferdinand thinks he could have mastered the art of the technique over the years.
The pair played together at United before Ronaldo completed his switch to Real Madrid in 2009.
And while analysing the incident after the match, Gary Lineker says: “If he means that then he is definitely special.”
