Real Madrid want Leroy Sane from Manchester City as they line up £70million bid for PFA Young Player of the Year

REAL MADRID are reportedly ready to launch a £70million bid for Manchester City star Leroy Sane.

The Manchester Evening News claims Zinedine Zidane has the German winger in his sights as he looks to make big changes this summer.

Sane was named PFA Young Player of the Year on Sunday, scoring 13 goals and assisting another 14 in all competitions this season.

But his fine form has attracted admiring glances from the Santiago Bernabeu, with a mega-money offer said to be in the works.

Despite being on the verge of yet another Champions League final, Real have struggled to keep pace with Barcelona in La Liga.

Fans believe they need greater depth to support the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo in attack.

And Sane is seen by club chiefs as the man to help Real reclaim their domestic crown.

The report adds Los Blancos are also interested in England international John Stones.

The defender is said to be available after falling behind Vincent Kompany, Nicolas Otamendi and Aymeric Laporte in the Etihad standings.

It’s said that Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne are being watched too, although City have no intention of selling either.
