The Frenchman signed an 18-month deal when he replaced Rafa Benitez over a year ago, but he’s yet to agree fresh terms.
Rumours suggest Zidane and Real could part ways if they fail to win a trophy, with Atletico sure to provide stern opposition in Europe.

High-fliers Juventus and Monaco are also still in the competition, while Barcelona have gone level at the top of La Liga – albeit playing an extra game.
But Zidane feels now is not the time for talk over his future, telling reports: “The only thing I’m thinking about and concentrating on is the match.
“I’m not even thinking about Saturday’s match. I don’t know what will happen later on and it doesn’t interest me.”

In the meantime, Real have been training in preparation of tomorrow’s game without record signing Gareth Bale.
The Welshman is still struggling with a calf injury, meaning Isco is likely to deputise in midfield.
Other than that, Zidane has no other problems and will surely be trying to exploit the fact that Atletico are without their two senior right-backs for the crunch clash.
