REAL MADRID have signed a staggering kit deal with Adidas thought to be worth £850million over the next seven years.
Football Leaks have reported details of the deal, claiming Los Blancos earn a fixed payment of £59million each year from Adidas.

To add to that, the German corporation also give Madrid 22.5 per cent of the money earned from club branded merchandise sales worth around £25m each year.
As if that wasn’t enough, there is also added financial incentives if the club is successful on the pitch, which means the two parties signed a ten-year-contract worth over one billion euros.
Madrid will be paid £2.1m each time they secure a Spanish La Liga title, but that payment could rise to above £3m after 2020 due to inflation.

And it doesn’t end there.
Adidas will have to fork out £4.2m should Zinedine Zidane’s side retain their Champions League title, and that could rise to £5.9m if they win it again in the next few seasons.

The kit manufacturer may be preparing to cough up this sum already as Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Co have one foot in this year’s final after a 3-0 win against rivals Atletico Madrid in their semi-final first leg.
In return Adidas have been given exclusive rights to host all of Madrid’s trophy celebration events at the Cibeles fountain in the Spanish capital, where thousands of fans gather every time the club celebrate a triumph.

The parades are bound to attract bags of media coverage so Adidas logos will be plastered over everything to ensure maximum exposure.
But hey…they are paying an awful lot of money for the privilege.
And it means that the world’s second richest football club (behind only Manchester United) will get even richer.
