MAURICIO POCHETTINO has admitted Harry Kane could be allowed to leave Tottenham if he asks to move like Gareth Bale and Luka Modric.
The England star is one of the hottest properties in Europe after outscoring both Lionel Messi AND Cristiano Ronaldo during 2017.
Kane, 24, found the net 56 times for Spurs and England over the last twelve months and has won the Premier League golden boot for two seasons in a row.
That has attracted huge attention from Champions League holders Real Madrid.
And amazingly Kane’s manager Pochettino has now revealed that if the hotshot asks to leave the club then Tottenham would have to consider selling their prized-asset.
In an interview conducted with Spanish TV show El Chiringuito de Jugones on December 19, which has just been released today, the Argentine discussed the possibility of losing Kane to Madrid.
Pochettino said: “As a representative for Tottenham, if Madrid came calling I would say we do not want to sell him.
“So he would stay here and they would have to understand that.

“But if you look at the human side, if the player asks to leave, like Modric and Bale did… then we would have to see. Right now, that hasn’t happened.
“I hope Harry Kane can be here for many more years, can score lots of goals and win trophies and titles, which is our aim.”

Despite this admission, Spurs have no intentions of letting Kane leave.
With their new stadium set to open for the start of next season, the North London side want to make the striker the poster boy of the club for the next few years.
Chairman Daniel Levy will resist all offers for Kane, despite cashing in on Bale and Modric to Madrid in recent times.
That is still unlikely to deter Real from attempting to bring the superstar to the Spanish capital.
Latest reports from publication Sport claim that they are planning a whopping £177m swoop – with Bale included – to try and land Kane next summer.
Pochettino knows he has a genuine top talent at his disposal, and he believes their is nobody better in the No9 position on the planet.

Speaking after Kane’s hat-trick against Southampton on Boxing Day, he said: “Harry is world-class.
“Today – one striker in the world, a specific position – who is better than Harry?
“It’s difficult to say he’s the best but he’s shown to everyone he’s one of the best.”
