REAL MADRID will be without Dani Carvajal until at least December according to reports from Spain.
The La Liga outfit announced on the weekend that the 25-year-old had been diagnosed with a viral infection of the heart – it now appears he will be out of action for longer than the six weeks originally expected.

Spanish paper Marca report Los Blancos medical team have formulated a care plan for the Spaniard who has undergone consultations with a number of different specialists.
The infection is difficult to treat, as the close proximity to the heart ensures that medical aid must be thoroughly thought through.
For a regular member of the public the infection would clear in a matter of weeks but doctors are reluctant to allow the defender to put his heart through the rigours of high intensity sport until it is completely recovered.
Carvajal hasn’t been in training since Saturday and has been given strict orders to avoid exercise and run the risk of further complications.

The complete rest will likely extend his absence past the two months and into the new year given the fact he will lose match fitness and rhythm.
That is a big blow for Zinedine Zidane who has played the right back in every minute of the season up until his diagnosis – having last played in the 3-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund.
The Frenchman’s options in the position are limited since the departure of Danilo.
Achraf Hakini stepped into his place for the victory over Espanyol and will likely remain there until the Spanish international returns.
