REAL MADRID strolled into the Copa del Rey quarter-finals with a 5-1 aggregate win over Numancia – thanks to a Lucas Vazquez double.
Zinedine Zidane’s side started the game 3-0 up, making Wednesday’s second-leg little more than a practice match for the reserves.

The was no sign of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale or Karim Benzema – with subs’ bench spots for Toni Kroos and Isco as glamourous as it got.
And it took just 10 minutes for the Galactico stand-ins to take the lead and kill off the tie when Lucas Vazquez headed home before on 10 minutes.
Real Madrid’s kids were in cruise control, which allowed a couple of Numancia men to catch the eye; Marc Mateu the prime candidate.
And seconds before halftime it was the visitors’ star man who created the equaliser for super-sub Guillermo Fernandez.

Real were rampant on the counter-attack and when Mayoral knocked a cross into Vazquez’s path, it was only heading one way.
Zidane was taking no chances and sent on Arsenal and Manchester City target Isco to kill off the challenge on 63 minutes.
But the little playmaker could not prevent Guillermo fired hom again to give the travelling fans a late thrill.
