Rangers fans issued with strict “one in, one out” toilet rules by police ahead of Old Firm derby against Celtic

RANGERS supporters have been issued with strict toilet rules by police ahead of today’s Old Firm derby against Celtic, according to fans’ group Club 1872.

It has emerged a “one in one out” policy will be in play at Parkhead.

The plans – revealed on Club 1872’s website – come after the damage done to the bogs at the stadium during last September’s clash.

A pre-match briefing said: “To prevent a repeat of the issues in the toilets at the last visit to Celtic Park, stewards will be situated at the entrances and exits of the toilets and a ‘one in one out’ will be adhered to.

“This shouldn’t slow down the time taken to use the facilities but it may cause a delay in entering the area and as such Police Scotland would ask for consideration to be taken by those held in the concourse areas while waiting.”

A minority of Gers fans trashed loos in the away end at Parkhead during the match that finished 5-1 to Celtic.

It sparked a row between the rivals over an unsettled bill for the wrecked toilets.

Hoops fans responded three months later at the Hogmanay derby clash by decorating the Ibrox bogs with green and white candles.
