LIVERPOOL are on the verge of signing Augsberg defender Ragnar Klavan as the £4.2million Estonian undergoes a medical.
Jurgen Klopp wants the veteran centre-back as cover, with Mamadou Sakho and Joe Gomez injured and Tiago Ilori in Portugal’s squad for Rio.

Klavan, 30, has won 108 caps for Estonia and four years of experience in the Bundesliga.
Former Dortmund boss Klopp sees him as filling a similar role as a back-up option and leader that Kolo Toure occupied before his exit.
The Reds are expected to announce Klavan as their fourth signing of the summer tomorrow.
