RAFA BENITEZ is reportedly ready to walk out if Newcastle owner Mike Ashley doesn’t sell up before the start of next season.
Talks of a proposed takeover from Amanda Staveley have stalled, with the owner of PCP Capital Partners offering £250million, but Ashley holding out for a further £50m.

According to the Daily Mail, Benitez’s future will depend on whether or not the deal goes through, as he is fed up with the transfer policy at the club.
Ashley was reportedly waiting for the news of the new Premier League TV deal this month before he renegotiated a new price.
The Spaniard has made his frustration over transfer dealings clear, with Rafa rarely getting the targets he outlines.
Even though Newcastle brought in Kenedy from Chelsea and Leicester’s Islam Slimani on loan, again they weren’t the manager’s first choices.
