ARSENAL
WHO THEY NEED: Alexandre Lacazette (Lyon, £55m), Thomas Lemar (Monaco, £25m), Pablo Fornals (Malaga, £20m).
WHO THEY WANT RID OF: Lucas Perez (£13m), Kieran Gibbs (£15m), Carl Jenkinson (£5m), David Ospina (£5m), Joel Campbell (£4m), Mathieu Debuchy (£4m).
SUMMARY: The Gunners have already signed Bosnian full-back Sead Kolasinac as a free agent from Schalke but now need to add a striker and midfield playmaker.

BOURNEMOUTH
WHO THEY NEED: Nathan Ake (below, Chelsea, £12m), Ryan Kent (Liverpool, £6m).
WHO THEY WANT RID OF: Lewis Grabban (£8m), Max Gradel (£8m).
SUMMARY: With striker Jermain Defoe and keeper Asmir Begovic in the bag, Eddie Howe has already shored up his team in two key areas. Adding some midfield pace and defensive depth will now be the Cherries chief’s main focus.

BRIGHTON
WHO THEY NEED: Thomas Delaney (Werder Bremen, £10m), Genki Haraguchi (Hertha Berlin, £2.5m), Markus Suttner (Ingolstadt, £2m), Joe Gomez (Liverpool, loan).
WHO THEY WANT RID OF: Jiri Skalak (£1.5m), Kazenga LuaLua (£1m).
SUMMARY: A good start, having signed Aussie keeper Mat Ryan from Valencia for a club-record £5m fee and £3m midfielder Pascal Gross from Ingolstadt. They need to continue in the same vein through the summer.

BURNLEY
WHO THEY NEED: Jay Rodriguez (below, Southampton, £12m), Jozo Simunovic (Celtic, £9m), Charlie Taylor (Leeds, £3.5m compensation).
WHO THEY WANT RID OF: Michael Keane (£25m), Steven Defour (£8m).
SUMMARY: Burnley do not want to sell Keane but have resigned themselves to losing him — and just want the situation sorted as soon as possible. But they definitely need more firepower, hence the interest in Rodriguez.

CHELSEA
WHO THEY NEED: Romelu Lukaku (Everton, £80m), Alex Sandro (Juventus, £70m), Willy Caballero (Man City, free), Andreas Christensen (back from loan at Borussia Monchengladbach).
WHO THEY WANT RID OF: Diego Costa (£50m), Michy Batshuayi (£30m or on loan), Nemanja Matic (£25m), Izzy Brown (£8m), Kurt Zouma (loan).
SUMMARY: Lots of outs but not many ins. Boss Antonio Conte is getting impatient over deals.

CRYSTAL PALACE
WHO THEY NEED: Mamadou Sakho (Liverpool, £30m).
WHO THEY WANT RID OF: Steve Mandanda (£6m).
SUMMARY: The Eagles’ biggest signing so far this summer was managing to tie down in-demand winger Wilfried Zaha to a five-year deal. But following Sam Allardyce’s resignation at the end of the season, having a new manager in place to buy a few others would be helpful.

EVERTON
WHO THEY NEED: Gylfi Sigurdsson (below, Swansea, £30m), Michael Keane (Burnley, £25m).
WHO THEY WANT RID OF: Ross Barkley (£25m), Gerard Deulofeu (£5m).
SUMMARY: Ronald Koeman has been busy. His top priority was a goalkeeper and Jordan Pickford arrived quickly from Sunderland for £30m.
Davy Klaassen joined for £23.4m from Ajax — and is an obvious replacement for Barkley, who angered Koeman by not signing a new contract.

HUDDERSFIELD
WHO THEY NEED: Steve Mounie (Montpellier, £12m), Izzy Brown (Chelsea, £8m), Tom Ince (below, Derby, £7m), Danny Williams (Reading, free), Kasey Palmer (Chelsea, loan), Danny Ward (Liverpool, loan).
WHO THEY WANT RID OF: Joe Lolley (£700,000), Harry Bunn (£300,000), Sean Scannell (£500,000).
SUMMARY: David Wagner prioritised tying up permanent deals for loan stars like Aaron Mooy, who is joining from Manchester City.

LEICESTER
WHO THEY NEED: Gylfi Sigurdsson (Swansea, £30m), Ben Gibson (below, Middlesbrough, £25m), Jonny Evans (West Brom, £20m), Kelechi Iheanacho (Man City, £20m), Eldin Jakupovic (Hull City, £2m).
WHO THEY WANT RID OF: Ahmed Musa (£12.5m), Leo Ulloa (£10m), Bartosz Kapustka (£5m), Ron-Robert Zieler (£1.5m).
SUMMARY: Much will depend on whether the Foxes get £40m for wantaway Riyad Mahrez. Expect them to go all out to land Swansea’s Sigurdsson.

LIVERPOOL
WHO THEY NEED: Virgil van Dijk (Southampton, £40m), Naby Keita (Red Bull Leipzig, £30m).
WHO THEY WANT RID OF: Lazar Markovic (£20m), Mamadou Sakho (£30m), Ryan Kent (£6m).
SUMMARY: With Mohamed Salah due to seal his £39m move today, Liverpool will turn their attention to Leipzig midfielder Keita.
Plus, they will revive interest in Van Dijk, with an approach through the proper channels this time.

MANCHESTER CITY
WHO THEY NEED: Kylian Mbappe (Monaco, £90m), Kyle Walker (Spurs, £50m), Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal, £45m), Benjamin Mendy (Monaco, £30m), Dani Alves (free).
WHO THEY WANT RID OF: Joe Hart (£20m), Kelechi Iheanacho (£20m), Wilfried Bony (£8m), Eliaquim Mangala (£18m), Samir Nasri (£15m), Nolito (£15m), Fernando (£8m).
SUMMARY: City did good business landing Ederson and Bernardo Silva. They need two full-backs and another top-class striker.

MANCHESTER UNITED
WHO THEY NEED: Alvaro Morata (Real Madrid, £60m), Ivan Perisic (below, Inter Milan, £26m), Nemanja Matic (Chelsea, £25m).
WHO THEY WANT RID OF: Chris Smalling (£20m), Wayne Rooney (£15m), Matteo Darmian (£10m).
SUMMARY: Centre of defence is sorted after landing Victor Lindelof from Benfica.
But they lack a cutting edge up front without Zlatan Ibrahimovic, so Morata from Real Madrid is a top priority.

NEWCASTLE
WHO THEY NEED: Aymen Abdennour (Valencia, £12m), Florian Lejeune (Eibar, £8.7m), Nicolas Pepe (Angers, £8.5m), Fernando (Man City, £8m), Maxime Gonalons (Lyon, £4m).
WHO THEY WANT RID OF: Aleksandar Mitrovic (£14m), Tim Krul (£6m), Grant Hanley (£4m), Jack Colback (£5m), Daryl Murphy (£3m), Achraf Lazaar (£2m), Matz Sels (loan).
SUMMARY: With only last year’s loan man Christian Atsu signed, Rafa Benitez wants to add in all positions.

SOUTHAMPTON
WHO THEY NEED: Kevin Wimmer (Tottenham, £20m), Calum Chambers (Arsenal, £12m).
WHO THEY WANT RID OF: Jay Rodriguez (£12m), Florin Gardos (£3m).
SUMMARY: Saints’ priorities depend a lot on when and if Virgil van Dijk leaves the club — and how much cash they can get for the Dutch defender.
Some more midfield creativity would not go amiss, either, while they close in on Claude Puel’s replacement.

STOKE CITY
WHO THEY NEED: Bruno Martins Indi (Porto, £15m).
WHO THEY WANT RID OF: Giannelli Imbula (£15m), Joselu (£8.5m), Phillip Wollscheid (£5m), Glenn Whelan (£1m).
SUMMARY: Mark Hughes has limited cash to spend after splashing out £12m on Saido Berahino in January.
Darren Fletcher was a good deal on a free from West Brom and Hughes wants last season’s loan star Martins Indi but that could be on hold until 2018.

SWANSEA
WHO THEY NEED: Roque Mesa (Las Palmas, £9m), Raul Albiol (Napoli, £6m), Martin Skrtel (Fenerbahce, £5m).
WHO THEY WANT RID OF: Borja Baston (£10m), Bafetimbi Gomis (£3m), Jordi Amat (£2.5m), Mike van der Hoorn (£1.5m).
SUMMARY: Strengthening the spine of the side is a priority. And with a loan deal for Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham lined up, a central midfielder and centre-back now top the list.

TOTTENHAM
WHO THEY NEED: Moussa Dembele (Celtic, £20m), Ryan Sessegnon (below, Fulham, £12m).
WHO THEY WANT RID OF: Kyle Walker (Manchester City, £50m), Kevin Wimmer (Southampton, £20m).
SUMMARY: Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham are not expected to be that busy in the transfer window.
They finished second last season with a reasonably young squad and have a £750m new stadium to pay for.

WEST BROM

WEST HAM
WHO THEY NEED: Olivier Giroud (Arsenal, £18m), Michy Batshuayi (below, Chelsea, loan), Josh King (Bournemouth, £18m).
WHO THEY WANT RID OF: Sofiane Feghouli (£5m), Enner Valencia (to Mexico, £10m).
SUMMARY: Boss Slaven Bilic drastically needs some firepower up front after last season’s shortcomings. He is also reluctant to bring through the promising youth team kids at the self-appointed ‘academy’.
