Premier League fans need to give up making banners… because we’re being put to shame by our European cousins
YOU have a problem with your football club, you know what to do… make a banner.
You can’t go to a single game in the Premier League these days without seeing a peeved supporter wielding an old bed sheet, crudely spray-painted with their message du jour.
Fans at Arsenal have been at their sign-making ‘best’ in recent monthsPA:Press Association
Most recently, Arsenal fans have been bringing miserable looking etchings demanding ‘Wenger Out’… or even ‘In Wenger we trust’.
Keep up to date with ALL the football news, gossip, transfers and goals on our club page plus fixtures, results and live match commentary.
It’s not just problems, either – supporters are bringing banners just because it seems.
Recently one fan brought a messy scribbling saying: “Millwall. No one likes us we don’t care.”

That's right it would appear the era of bringing club or national flags to stadiums, it's all about getting your point across - whatever that may be.
But if you're going to do it, buck the English trend and take note from our European cousins.
Why? Because when they bring a banner to a game they really go all out.
