PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG may not be able to feature for Arsenal in the Europa League this season, but that didn’t stop him cheering on his team-mates against Ostersunds.
The Gabon striker is cup-tied in Europe for the rest of the campaign, but was on hand to support the Gunners as they welcomed the Swedish minnows to the Emirates on Thursday night.

But to the dismay of the former Borussia Dortmund star, his new side suffered a shock defeat as they lost 2-1, but still managed to progress to the Round of 16.
He will now be cheering on Arsene Wenger‘s men as he goes back to the San Siro with Arsenal set to face AC Milan on Thursday, March 8.
Aubameyang was a key man in the Serie A club’s youth team, but failed to feature for the first team and was shipped out to St-Etienne.
And he will be hoping the North London outfit put on a better display than they did against Ostersunds, who outclassed Arsenal throughout the 90 minutes.

Goals from Hosam Aiesh and Ken Sema sent Graham Potter’s men 2-0 up at the break, before Sead Kolasinac scored almost immediately after the restart.
And Aubameyang showed his loyalties as he showed his delight at the defender’s strike, posting a picture to his Instagram story.
