It’s 14 years since Nedved, 45, won the Ballon d’Or.

The world thought those famous blonde locks were long lost to the world of soccer.

But Nedved, who hung up his boots in 2008-09, is back in business.

The former Juventus great actually started his youth career at FK Skalna.

He joined them at the age of five and went on to play at youth level for eight years.

Skalna announced his signing of Nedved on their official Facebook page.

They included pictures of him signing on the dotted line.

But although he has officially signed on, it’s not clear when Nedved can take to the field.

That’s because of his ongoing duties as Juventus vice-president, the place where he spent eight glorious years as a player.

He scored 51 goals in 247 games there, having also played for Lazio, Sparta Prague and Dukla Prague.

His biggest regret, though, was not joining Manchester United.

His role at Juventus remains his priority but the Serie A club have agreed to him making occasional appearances in his homeland.

Nedved’s son, Pavel Nedved junior, is also on Skalna’s books.

So the rare spectacle of father and son becoming team-mates is just around the corner.
