Paul Pogba to Manchester United: French star set to rake in £40million in revenue from world-record purchase

MANCHESTER UNITED could make up to £40million in revenue in just one year once Paul Pogba completes his world-record move from Juventus.

The Frenchman is on the verge of finalising a return to Old Trafford for a total outlay of £112m.

But Red Devils chiefs believe they could recoup over a third of that in just 12 months.

Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, is due 30 per cent of the sell-on fee.

One of the main hold ups of the deal is over whether it will be United or Juventus who pays it.

And the Old Trafford giants’ commercial department is reportedly working on a marketing strategy which will partner the 23-year-old with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

According to The Sunday Times, United have asked for control of 80 per cent of Pogba’s image rights.

The French midfielder recently signed a long-term deal with sportswear giants Adidas — who have a ten-year £750m contract to sponsor the Red Devils.

Pogba’s move to United is expected to be finalised within the next few days.
