PAUL POGBA‘S move to Manchester United appears to be finally drawing to a close as betting has been suspended on his next club.
United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward did not travel with the squad on their pre-season tour of China in order to wrap up a world-record deal for the Juventus star, 23.
Juve rejected a £100million bid from the Red Devils earlier today so any fee accepted will break the £85.3million Real Madrid paid for Gareth Bale in 2013.
Gambling company Ladbrokes have suspended all bets on Pogba's next club after a picture of Jose Mourinho's tactics seemed to show the midfielder's name in his possible lineup.
A spokesman said: "As far as we're concerned all bets are off when it comes to Pogba making the move to United.
