When the 23-year-old arrived in Manchester for a medical ahead of his world-record £89million move to United, Moriba could be seen beaming in the back of the car.

She has been labelled the most formidable woman in football — and accompanied Pogba to the Ballon d’Or award ceremony, where he was named in the FifPro Team of the Year.

The Frenchman left United on a free transfer after being constantly overlooked by Fergie in central midfield — with Paul Scholes even having to come out of retirement.
