Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku celebrate Independence Day in matching white outfits with basketball star

PAUL POGBA and Romelu Lukaku celebrated Independence Day in LA with NBA star Serge Ibaka.

The pals were joined by the basketballer as they posed in stylish white outfits in a plush pad.

Lukaku shared the classy black-and-white shots on his Instagram as Pogba put up a video of him living the high life.

Both are big basketball fans and spent last summer challenging each other on the court.

This year they have been in a more relaxed mood – dancing by the pool of their luxury accommodation.

Lukaku had been linked with a move to join Pogba in Manchester but United are chasing Alvaro Morata instead.

And the powerful Belgian looks increasingly likely to return to former club Chelsea in a deal worth up to £100m.

Pogba, meanwhile, is aiming for rediscover his top form after a hit-and-miss first season back at Old Trafford.

Despite Jose Mourinho standing firmly beside his record signing and a three-trophy haul, the Frenchman has many critics.

Statistics proved he was making an impact but there were suggestions Pogba should be providing more.

And his superb display against England in France’s 3-2 friendly win showed signs that the playmaker will silence his doubters.

Champions League qualification and victory in Europe, the FA Cup and Community Shield was enough for Mourinho last season.

But after another summer of big spending, expectations will be raised this time around and Pogba will need to be fresh.
