Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe confirms he held talks with Real Madrid prior to his move to Paris
KYLIAN MBAPPE has revealed he held talks with Real Madrid before he made his move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Los Blancos were said to be prepared to put up big money to sign the 19-year-old but Mbappe chose to join PSG instead.

He joined PSG on loan last summer, with the deal due to become a permanent £160million switch to Paris at the end of the season.
The France international has been a big hit since joining PSG, scoring 12 goals already this season as the club look to dominate at home and in Europe.
He is starting to form a formidable understanding with attacking team-mates Neymar and Edinson Cavani as PSG have opened up a nine point gap at the top of Ligue 1.
Speaking to Spanish news outlet Marca, Mbappe explained why he decided to move to the French capital.

Mbappe is part of a formidable attacking unit at PSG including Edinson Cavani and NeymarSTEPHANE MAHE
“[I turned down Real Madrid] because PSG is the team of my city,” Mbappe said.
“[Joining Real Madrid] would have been like a Real Madrid-supporting kid from Madrid having the chance to play for his team and deciding to go somewhere else, to another country.
“I wanted to play for PSG and I am very happy right now about how things are going.
“There were a lot of rumours about the transfers and it’s true that we spoke, but I think that’s now in the past for me and for Real Madrid.
“I now play for PSG and I will defend these colours 100 per cent.”
