OXFORD CITY have set the bar for one of the strangest locations to sign a player after Matt Paterson penned a deal with the club in McDonald’s.
The non-league side posted the image of their new man on their Twitter account and it went viral after social media users retweeted it hundreds of times.

It became such a hit that McDonald’s tweeted the club to say they are a fan of their “tasty new signing” – and they could possibly go on to sponsor Oxford City.
In the image Paterson is also holding a Barclays pen as he sits over his contract.
Oxford City finished 14th in the National League South last season and have wasted no time in recruiting ahead of next term.
Paterson has joined David Pearce and Guri Demuria as new signings at Marsh Lane.
The 27-year-old began his professional career at Southampton after being in Bournemouth’s academy before picked up by Saints at an early age.
