OUMAR NIASSE was given a two-game ban because he “exaggerated” his fall by “arching” his back.
The Everton striker won a penalty in last Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace after going to ground when he made contact with Scott Dann.

A four-page document has revealed why ref Anthony Taylor’s decision was overturned, meaning Niasse will now miss games against Southampton and West Ham.
After becoming the first player to be hit with a retrospective diving charge under the FA’s new rules, Everton appealed.
But a panel, which included an experienced manager, an ex-player and an ex-referee, decided Niasse was guilty.
An FA document states: “The arching of the back and the collapsing of both legs, were simply not consistent with the amount of force exerted upon him by Mr Dann and in exaggerating the effect of the contact made between himself and Mr Dann, Mr Niasse deceived the referee and this led to a penalty being awarded by the referee.”
The match delegate had reported: “The glaring example of simulation was the penalty award on 4 mins against Palace.

“In my view, Everton’s Niasse has dived to earn his team a penalty and Mr Taylor was successfully deceived. I accept there was contact made by Palace’s Dann.
“However the contact made is minimal – certainly not enough to make Niasse fall to the ground in the way he did.’
Taylor had suggested that ‘he made the right call because of the contact made’.
CONNED Everton striker Oumar Niasse accused of diving for penalty by Crystal Palace defender Scott Dann
Two EFL players – Carlisle forward Shaun Miller and Bristol City defender Bailey Wright – had previously been banned for two games, but Niasse was the first player from the top flight.
Everton caretaker boss David Unsworth said: “It opens it up to opinion, not fact.

“I think it is very dangerous – not just for the FA but for the game in general. So much is open to debate. What you think is a penalty I might disagree.
“We have to accept it. It doesn’t mean we have to agree. I know Oumar. He will always take on the opportunity to have a shot on goal.
“Having seen the replay 50 times, there is contact. Whether it is slight, there is contact. My problem is how much contact is allowed and that is open to debate.”
