And he chose the move despite an offer to go back to the Nou Camp — where he spent two seasons earlier in his career.
City and Barca were the only offers on the table for him.
But the wideman, 29, said: “It’s something I spoke about with my family and management.

“I also spoke with David Silva. He spoke well about City. It took me just two days to make the decision.
“I have come to the Premier League to play with City and under Pep Guardiola, who will play me in the first team
“I am very proud of Barcelona’s interest, but now I am here I think I made the best decision.
“I’ve had the luck to play with Lionel Messi a bit, but what I want in life is to play and enjoy my football.”
It was Guardiola who handed Nolito his chance with Barca.
