NEYMAR will be out for at least six weeks and miss the clash with Real Madrid even if he avoids surgery, claims his dad.
The Brazilian, 26, fractured a metatarsal in the win over Marseille but Paris Saint-Germain boss Unai Emery claimed he could potentially feature next week.
Neymar Sr, however, is adamant his son will be unavailable until April even if the injury will heal without him going under the knife.
He told ESPN Brazil: “PSG know that they will not be able to count on Neymar for the upcoming matches.
“His treatment will last six to eight weeks, whether there is an operation or not.
“The decision lies with PSG and will be made as a team after the arrival of the Brazil national team doctor.
“It is vital to make it quickly because we cannot wait. Surgery is the quickest way to accelerate the player’s recovery.”

Emery insisted “no decision” had been made about the potential operation after reports he had already undergone surgery.
But Neymar looks set to miss the Champions League showdown and will be in a race against time to be fully fit for the World Cup.

Marseille left-back Jordan Amavi, 23, took a pop at the crocked ace – claiming he was always trying to draw fouls.
He said: “We play as always against Neymar, but he always tries to provoke.
“He gets the ball and waits for us to arrive, he waits until the last moment to move, what do you expect then?
“I do not know, but he always looks for fouls. ”
Amavi’s comments come after Thiago Silva claimed Dimitri Payet threatened to hurt Neymar before his injury.
