Neymar: Barcelona star snubbed Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City and PSG before agreeing mega new deal at Nou Camp

BARCELONA superstar Neymar rejected offers from Real Madrid, Paris Saint Germain, Manchester United and refused to speak to Manchester City this summer.

The Brazilian agreed a new long term deal with the Catalan giants to tie him to the La Liga champions until June 2021, with a staggering buyout clause of up to 250 million euros.

Real Madrid, Paris Saint-German and both Manchester clubs made Neymar their No 1 transfer target and were prepared to meet the buyout clause of 190m euros.

Barca’s bitter rivals Real Madrid made contact with the 24-year-old representatives about the possibility of moving to the Bernabeu.

A potential deal would have eclipsed Luis Figo’s move across the divide – the Portuguese star left Catalonia to join Real Madrid’s “Golacticos” for £45 million in 2000.

French champions PSG viewed Neymar as the A-list star to lead them to Champions League glory.

The Paris giants have only managed to reach the quarter-finals in the last four seasons of Europe's premier club competition.

PSG supremo Sheikh Nasser Al-Khelaifi went as far as offering the former Santos star a stake in a hotel built in Neymar's native Brazil in his own name.

The Red Devils chief Ed Woodward was prepared to beat any offer made on the table for Neymar in an ambitious attempt to lure the Brazilian to the Premier League.

However the Barca star didn't even bother to speak to Manchester City CEO Ferran Soriano about the possibility of moving to the Etihad to work under new boss Pep Guardiola.

The deal to keep Neymar at the Nou Camp has already been rubber stamped.
